"Owning rabbits for 20 years doesn’t automatically mean you’ve been caring for them correctly for 20 years. Animal welfare evolves. We learn more, research improves, and what was considered “good care” years ago isn’t always what’s best today.

Many of us were told hutches were suitable, muesli was a healthy diet, rabbits were happy living alone, or that they didn’t need vaccinations. We now know that’s simply not true.

The best rabbit owners aren’t the ones who’ve owned rabbits the longest. They’re the ones who are willing to learn, adapt, and change when new evidence tells us we can do better. There’s nothing wrong with saying, “I didn’t know then, but I do now.” Our rabbits deserve for us to keep learning, because they rely on us to make the right choices for them." - Above gfx & txt; Clement Rabbit Rescue
